Take a cannabis spirituality trip to Jamaica
APR 19, 2019
There seems to be something in the air. You don’t have to be Rastafarian anymore to recognize the spiritual and sacramental value of cannabis or to incorporate it into your life.
The Cantheist icon, seen here in front of a cannabis leaf, derives from an Egyptian Heiroglyph and represents a personal sacramental relationship with cannabis.
People in California have been gathering for Canthiest Cannamaste Circles. The International Church of Cannabis has opened its doors in Denver, Colorado. A Mendocino county retreat offers cannabis weddings. Canada will host a cannabis consciousness event this summer.
Now, following a series of events in California and Canada, Cannabliss Retreats, the world’s first global cannabis tourism company, is hosting its fifth cannabis wellness excursion from June 16-23, 2019.
This time, participants will discover the heartland of the spirit of cannabis in the lush tropics of Coral Cove Resort in Jamaica.
As education of cannabinoid medicine spreads to mainstream population, industry leaders such as doctors, yogis, nutritionists, wellness professionals, clinical researchers, spiritual advisors are all coming on board to support the collective mission. Cannabliss Retreats is at the forefront of executing an educational and wellness platform to curate conscious community with cannabis.
The theme of this retreat features The Spirit of Cannabis, a program consisting of intentionally designed workshops and ceremonies that deepen the guest’s connection with the plant, through expanding the mind, strengthening the body and awakening the spirit.
Guests from around the world will journey to Jamaica to connect with the cultural roots of the Rastfarian community. Guests must be over 21 to attend.
“When you smoke the herb’, it reveals you to yourself.”
— Bob Marley
They will also receive cannabis and hemp education, ceremonies, yoga classes, delicious Jamaican cuisine + add on excursions to local cannabis farms, Bob Marley’s former home, hiking nearby hills, sea cave exploration, and more.
Featured facilitators include Cannabliss Retreats Founder Sari Starr – Cannabis Priestess, Soul Purpose Mentor and Entrepreneur. Dr. Jenny Wilkins a Naturopathic Doctor and clinical research associate on Cannabinoid Medicine. Andrew Sealy a connection catalyst, yoga artist, and movement creator. Keiko Beatie, Cannabis Advocate, Ayurvedic Practitioner and Melissa Wynne Jones – Retreat Program Director and Integration Facilitator.
A positive relationship with herb
According to the LA Weekly, the retreat “is part of a burgeoning cannabis experience industry — and this retreat is one of the most elaborate yet.”

“I thought it was totally crazy to try something so “offbeat” as marijuana. If God and Doctors couldn’t help me, then how could this silly little plant help me? I was honestly not expecting much, but I loved it! I still remember the feeling all week. I felt that maybe I was NOT a lost cause after all. I really hope that other people will go to these retreats. For me it was not just life-changing but life-saving”
– Cannabliss Retreats Guest, Joshua Tree
People’s life changing experiences over the past 5 retreats have been phenomenally profound. Cannabliss Retreats offers a safe space for all guests to experience cannabis and gain education and experiential connections unique from other retreats.
Sponsors include: EndoCanna Health, offering 40 percent off their Endocannabinoid DNA kits to all participating retreat guests and/or a complementary data upload, which includes a personalized wellness assessment of the results, offered by Founder Len May. M3 Life CBD, whose Medical Director is Dr. Jenny Wikins, will be donating products to the guests from their age-reversing organic skincare line. My Bud Vase are donating the sacred peace pipes which will be used in the Cannabis ceremony.
Coral Cove is not on the tourist trail and is unlike any resort you’ve ever visited. This is a place for adventurous vacationers wanting to experience the rich Jamaican culture; off the beaten path, far away from the hordes of hotel row. The cool breezes, pampered personal service, comfortable accommodations and extraordinary Jamaican cuisine make it the perfect place for a Cannabliss Retreat!
